Who Receives The Donations

The S. Mark Taper Foundation Shelter Resource Bank Annual Warehouse Luncheon & Tour

Shelter Partnership partners with 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations serving people experiencing homelessness and poverty, schools, and government programs in the Los Angeles County area. Organizations we partner with address the epidemic of homeless in a wide variety of ways. Our community partners include:

  • Emergency Shelter/Transitional Housing/Interim Housing
  • Permanent Supportive Housing/Affordable Housing
  • Schools, Community Colleges, and Universities serving students experiencing poverty

Our community partners serve thousands of people across Los Angeles County including:

  • Adults, families, and youth experiencing poverty or homelessness
  • Veterans experiencing homelessness
  • Survivors of domestic violence
  • People with disabilities
  • Foster and emancipated youth

Since 1989, Shelter Partnership has provided agencies with over $321 million in non-perishable items like new clothing, diapers, hygiene products, and children’s items at no cost. Donations are never sold or traded. We are always looking for new agencies to join our thriving program.
